Kibebew Babege Woldeyes completed his primary, secondary and preparatory school at Wolkite, Gurage Zone of Southern Nation Nationalities and Peoples of Ethiopia. Then, he joined Dilla University and received Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Animal and Range Science in July 2015. After graduation, he directly joined Haramaya University, Post graduate program for the Degree of Master of Science in Dairy Science in 2015/2016 academic year sponsored by Minster of Education. As far as his first and second degree, he has taken different online diplomas in the area of English Language and Computer Skills.

He joined Kabridahar University as a lecturer and researchers since 2007. Besides, he serves as Registrar and Alumni Directorate Director at Kabridahar University for the last four consecutive years.  Before to his current role at Kabridahar University, he served as college of Dry Land Agriculture Dean and Director for Good Governance and Transformation Directorate of the university. An addition, he is actively participating in internal and external affairs of the university via different Ad hoc and standing committee.

Moreover, Kibebew Babege Woldeyes is actively engage in teaching learning process, community engagement and different research activities. His main area of research interest includes milk production, meat production, animal nutrition, food microbiology, products processing technologies. He has published several research articles in international scientific journals.

In all, Kibebew Babege Woldeyes is active and energetic young scholar, and Kabridahar senate is promoted Kibebew Babege Woldeyes from the rank of Lecturer to Assistant Professor of Animal Production (Dairy Science) starting from the date of February 11, 2021.
