History and Heritage Management Department

For one country economic development education is very important. Following this, Ethiopia planned to expand higher education with the objective to produce competent, creative and having high number of graduates. Accordingly in 2008 G.C eleven universities were opened. Among eleven universities Kabridehar University is one.

Kabridehar University is launched by government in 2008 E.C/2016 G.C in order to expand higher education in the country.  In 2010 E.C. Kabridehar University started teaching by opening four colleges. Among that, college of social science and humanities is one. Under this college history and heritage management department is one and started teaching by four instructors and thirty five students in one section. But, nowadays the department teaches seventy students in two sections with thirty instructors.
