Dry Land Agriculture

The College of Dry land Agriculture (CDA) is among the firstly established colleges since Kebri Dehar University was inaugurated. The College functions targeting in producing skilled human power in the area of Dry land Agriculture by engaging in problem solving research, community services and technology transfer to solve the various problems in pastoral and agro- pastoral in addition to teaching.  It has been also engaging in various researches and community service activities. In order to facilitate the teaching, research, community service and technology transfer activities, the college has proposed to established research and demonstration stations in the Kebri Dehar university campus.  It is undeniable fact that the college of Dry Land Agriculture (CDA) has been running different activities since its establishment. 

The college has been actively playing its role to meet the needs of Dry land Agriculture in terms of producing skilled human power under its six programs for undergraduates and one program for postgraduate.

    Vision:-

   College of Dry Land Agriculture aspires to be one of the leading colleges in kebri Dahar University and center of excellence at pastoral and agro-pastoral in Ethiopia by 2030

    Mission:-

   College of Dry Land Agriculture has a mission of offering relevant, quality education and training; conducting demand driven research and rendering accessible community service.

    General object of the college:-

   The overall goal of the college is to create competent, highly skilled and committed agricultural professional to promote agricultural, environmental, and social sustainability through research, teaching, and public engagement to meet the challenges of global change
